Closed in January 2022 the pub was refurbished and reopened in July of that year, following a campaign by the Parish Council, but with cask ale sadly removed. The pub has a comfortable atmosphere. Features include a main bar area and separate games room for pool, darts and a fruit machine. There is lots of seating outside the front of the pub and rear parking at the back.
